These terms

These terms apply when you book accommodation with Empire Stays at Senneerkuppam, Poonamallee, Chennai. Booking a bed on this site means you accept them.

What a booking is

A booking reserves a bed of the room type you selected, on the floor allocated to your gender, from your move-in date. It does not reserve a numbered room or a specific bed — we allocate those when you arrive, and we may move you to another bed of the same type during your stay if we need to.

Your bed is held for 15 minutes while you complete payment. If payment is not completed in that time, the hold lapses and the bed returns to general availability.

Payment

The booking fee of ₹2,000 is paid online at the time of booking. The security deposit and rent are paid directly to the property. Rent is due monthly, in advance, on the date corresponding to your move-in date.

Your booking is confirmed only once we have verified the payment on our own servers. A message from your bank or from the payment page is not by itself a confirmation from us — we email and message you when your booking is actually confirmed.

Minimum stay and notice

The minimum stay is 1 month. Written notice is required before vacating. The notice period is agreed with management when you join. All dues must be cleared and keys, access cards and PG property returned at check-out.

House rules

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Visitors are welcome during visiting hours and must register at reception; no visitor may stay overnight without prior permission. Keys and access cards must not be shared. Fire exits are kept clear at all times. Smoking is not permitted where prohibited by law or house rules. Pets require prior written permission. Two-wheeler parking is available in the designated area.

We may ask a resident to leave for repeated or serious breaches of these rules, for non-payment of rent, or for behaviour that makes the property unsafe or unpleasant for others. Where we do, we will say why in writing.

Your belongings

We take reasonable care of the building and its security, but we are not responsible for loss or damage to your personal belongings. Lock your room and insure anything valuable.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
